Hall of Fame basketball coach Frank McGuire suffered a broken hip in a fall at his home in Columbia, S.C., and was in stable condition at Baptist Hospital. McGuire, 78, suffered the injury Friday night and underwent hip replacement surgery Saturday, a spokesman said.
