Man Held After $10,000 Worth of Cocaine Found
An 18-year-old Oxnard man was arrested after narcotics officers culminated a two-week investigation with the seizure of an estimated $10,000 worth of cocaine.
Levert Winslow Young was arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale following the investigation by Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura police departments, said Oxnard Sgt. Mike Matlock.
Detectives served search warrants Friday at 3654 Via Marina in Oxnard and 545 Sunkist St. in Port Hueneme, finding and seizing more than five ounces of cocaine, an unspecified amount of cash and several weapons.
The investigation is continuing, Matlock said.
