Buchanan on Moral Standards
Buchanan’s call for a holy war is reminiscent of Hitler’s blueprint for a revived Germany, which was spelled out in his book “Mein Kampf.” Like Hitler, Buchanan considers modern art pornographic, homosexuality a sinful perversion, Jews an enemy of his beliefs, popular poets as sick, movies even worse and people who don’t believe in God the enemies of everything that is good and decent.
What is frightening is that millions of Americans agree with him.
If Buchanan ever gets into power and he enacts laws that “decide what is right and wrong, moral and immoral, beautiful and ugly, healthy and sick,” then the biggest casualty in America will be its democracy.
