Political Bias Against Women
At last, a piece in The Times I can read without having to stop several times, breathe deeply and say to myself, “This person has every right to express this tripe.” Postrel’s clear-thinking analysis of the so-called “Year of the Woman” cuts directly through the bile being spewed by alleged journalists and political pundits.
Using reason, a commodity in short supply in an election year, Postrel has exposed the fringe factions directing the women’s plank for both the Democrats (the vocal feminists), and the Republicans (the remnants of the Moral Majority). Both parties have buried the true thinking woman, the individual unrestrained by pressure groups and conventional wisdom, and thus deserve the disdain and apathy heaped upon them by their constituents, the voting public.
