Court Dismisses Harassment Suit
A Santa Monica Superior Court judge has dismissed a screenwriter’s complaint of sexual harassment against Silver Pictures president Michael Levy.
In a lawsuit filed earlier this year, Wayne Ethan Mogilefsky, a former creative executive at Silver Pictures, accused Levy of promising him a promotion and salary increase in exchange for sexual favors.
Judge Lawrence Waddington dismissed the harassment allegation Thursday, but did not address Mogilefsky’s additional claim of intentional and negligent emotional distress.
