Costa Mesa’s Schwartz Wins Scratch Main

COSTA MESA —  Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Schwartz was the wire-to-wire winner and Rob Pfetzing of Orange was second. Andy Northrup of Ontario was third and Louis Kossuth of Diamond Bar was fourth.

Pfetzing won the 25-lap handicap main event. Chris Manchester of Hesperia was second, Shawn McConnell of Brea third and Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano was fourth.
