Encinitas Politics

I wonder why anyone would ever run for City Council in Encinitas, because unless you agree with a small group of professional complainers, all the sacrifices and many hours of hard work are completely obliterated. The hard-working members of the council with whom I have worked on committees have sacrificed much time.

We are a young city and certainly do not have all the things we want. This will all come in good time if we learn to cooperate. Nothing good will come of this nit-picking and back-stabbing.

I hope some thick-skinned and strong members will be elected to the council who can take all the heat and still work efficiently to bring the many facilities still needed and missing to our city.
