Box-Office Siege: “Under Siege,” the Steven Seagal techno-thriller from Warner Bros., took over at the box office this weekend with $13.8 million in earnings for first place, according to early industry estimates. It was the only film out of several new releases to make the Top Five. Others on the list: 20th Century Fox’s “The Last of the Mohicans,” with $8.4 million in earnings; Disney’s “The Mighty Ducks,” $7.1 million; “Hero,” $3.7 million; “Mr. Baseball,” $3.2 million. “1492: Conquest of Paradise,” the Christopher Columbus epic, placed seventh, earning a disappointing $2.6 million.
