Alumni from classes dating back to the 1920s, as well as recent graduates, will return to Woodbury University in Burbank on Sunday to mark their alma mater’s 109th birthday.

More than a dozen class reunions are planned during the 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. event.

Featured will be patriotic entertainment by the Verdugo Hills Women’s Chorus, early American music by the San Fernando Valley Banjo Band, an old-fashioned picnic, clowns, pony rides, games and more family activities.

A towering “Uncle Woody” on stilts will poll the homecoming crowd on their November ballot choices. Tours of the campus also will be offered.
