PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Knox: Anderson Needs a Miracle
Wide receiver Flipper Anderson is still being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Atlanta, with an injured right ankle, but Coach Chuck Knox on Friday all but ruled Anderson out of the game.
“It would take something miraculous for him to be able to go,” Knox said, noting that Anderson has missed the last three weeks of practice.
If Anderson doesn’t play, he will be replaced by Aaron Cox in the starting lineup.
“I’m going to go out there, and if I play, I’ll be happy,” Anderson said. “If I can’t, I’ll look forward to next week.”

Knox says he has told his players to keep their poise against the Falcons, who are known for their tendency to taunt opponents.
“When you lose your poise, you get into a confrontation with somebody else on the other team, whether it’s verbally or physically, (and) you make a mistake,” Knox said.
“We’ve said, ‘You know, whatever they do, we’re going to retaliate with tough, physical plays within the rules and not get caught up in it.’ ”
