Lake Forest’s Garner Wins Rolex Golf Title

Ben Garner of Lake Forest defeated Jose Bird of Puerto Rico, 3 and 1, to win the boys’ 15-16 division championship match at the American Junior Golf Assn. Rolex Junior tournament Sunday in Tucson.

Garner, a junior at El Toro High School, beat Todd Lynch of Winston-Salem, N.C., 4 and 3, in a semifinal match earlier Sunday.
