Trade Deficit Drops: South Korea said it recorded a $248-million trade surplus in November, contrasted with deficits of $25 million in October and $686 million in November, 1991. Exports totaled $6.654 billion in November, down 0.3% from a year earlier and 6.9% from the previous month. Imports were $6.406 billion, down 13% from a year before and 10.7% from the previous month. As a result, the trade deficit narrowed to $5.2 billion for the first 11 months of this year from $10.5 billion during the same period last year. Officials expect the deficit to narrow to $4.7 billion for all of 1992 from $9.7 billion last year.
