Irvine Lineman Gully Commits to UCLA
IRVINE — Sean Gully, an offensive tackle at Irvine High School, has committed to play at UCLA, Irvine Coach Terry Henigan said Thursday.
Gully, a 6-foot-5, 245-pound two-year starter, has been a part of two Southern Section championship teams at Irvine. The Vaqueros won the Division II title in 1991 and the Division IV title this season.
Gully, a first-team All-Sea View League pick this season and a first-team All-South Coast League selection in 1991, is the second Orange County lineman to commit to the Bruins this week, joining Esperanza defensive tackle Travis Kirschke.
