Times Appoints Rhoads Vice President, Operations
Keating Rhoads has been appointed vice president of operations at the Los Angeles Times, effective Jan. 1, 1993, David Laventhol, publisher and chief executive of The Times, announced.
Rhoads, 43, will be responsible for all production, transportation and systems operations at The Times’ three plants in Los Angeles, Orange County and the San Fernando Valley.
Rhoads, who is now director of operations for The Times, will report to EuGene L. Falk, the newspaper’s executive vice president and general manager. He succeeds Mike Williams, who resigned. The Times is a unit of Times Mirror Co.
