Christof Duffner of Germany scored 237.7 points to win the first of this season’s four-hill ski jumping events in Oberstdorf, Germany. Duffner, 21, sailed 378.6 feet on both his jumps to squeeze out the victory over Andreas Goldberger of Austria, who had jumps of 377 feet and 373 3/4 feet to score 237.4 points.
