LOS ANGELES : Suspect Sought in Slaying at Freeway Off-Ramp
Los Angeles police are looking for Alfredo (Freddie) Chagolla, 22, a suspect in the freeway off-ramp slaying of Ronald B. Ordin, owner of the Central Wholesale Market in downtown Los Angeles.
Police said Chagolla, whom they believe to be the triggerman in the shooting, fled to Mexico shortly after the May 16, 1991, slaying but may be back in this area.
A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information can call Detective Andrew Monsue of the West Los Angeles Homicide Squad at (310) 575-8441 or 575-8401. Chagolla, whose last known address was 841 E. 25th St., is one of three men charged in the assassination-style killing of Ordin on the National Boulevard off-ramp of the Santa Monica Freeway.
