GM May Sell a Stake in Perot’s Old Firm: The stumbling auto giant reportedly is negotiating to sell a portion of its profitable Electronic Data Systems Corp. subsidiary to British Telecommunications to raise cash. Neither firm would comment on the reports. GM bought EDS for $2.5 billion from founder H. Ross Perot eight years ago.
