Rep. McDermott to Head House Ethics Committee

WASHINGTON — Third-term Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) is the new chairman of the House ethics committee.
Rep. Fred Grandy (R-Iowa), in his fourth term, is the new ranking Republican on the panel, formally the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
