DUELING BOOKS: “Christianity in Crisis,” a new book from the Irvine-based Christian Research Institute, heavily criticizes Paul Crouch, founder of Tustin-based Trinity Broadcasting Network. Institute director Hank Hanegraaff is pushing the book, which he wrote, at this weekend’s National Religious Broadcasters convention in Los Angeles. . . . The combative Crouch, who resigned from the NRB under pressure, is hard at work on his autobiography, due in May: “I Had No Father. . . . But God,” which answers his critics.
