Black in the Saddle

I admire Mario Van Peebles for taking the next step with “Posse.” I am tired of films like “Fried Green Tomatoes” and “Basic Instinct.” I want to see more movies directed by blacks--starring blacks.

I hope that other African-Americans realize that we must change the status quo by supporting black films--or run the risk of spending the rest of our viewing lives watching white people live.
