ON THE ROAD: Peter Gabriel may be coming out of tour hibernation. The acclaimed English rocker is thinking about a brief club swing--including a Los Angeles stop--in early April, previewing a show that he’ll take on the road this summer. The club dates would take place in the week leading up to Gabriel’s April 10 appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”
The summer tour will be Gabriel’s first since the 1988 Amnesty International shows, where he was joined by Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Tracy Chapman and Youssou N’Dour. Some of the shows might feature some of the world music artists that record for Gabriel’s Real World label.
