Stopping Stuttering: British comedy actor Michael Palin came under fire from the National Stuttering Project when he stammered his way through the box-office hit “A Fish Called Wanda,” but he’s now trying to help children afflicted with the speech impediment by lending his name and support to the Michael Palin Center for Stammering Children. The London center will be Britain’s first facility specializing in the problem. Palin’s father had a severe stammer.
