Cynthia Watts has joined Leslie’s Poolmart as vice president, general counsel and secretary of the Chatsworth-based retailer of swimming pool supplies.
Watts previously was an associate at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where she specialized in corporate finance, venture capital and securities.
Leslie’s Poolmart also said Hugh Pierce has resigned as chief financial officer and a director. Hughes had been with Leslie’s since 1988.
The company said it’s currently looking for Pierce’s successor and expects “to conclude our search for a replacement shortly.”
