The Catholic Deaf Community of the Diocese of Orange announced that Frank Q. Luna was ordained a permanent deacon during a recent Ordination Mass led by the Most Rev. Norman F. McFarland, bishop of Orange.
Luna, who has been deaf from birth, will continue as pastoral minister for the Office of the Deaf Ministry of the Diocese of Orange. He is a western states board member of the National Catholic Office for the Deaf. Information: (714) 639-2900.
