WORLD IN BRIEF : INDIA : Bomb in Calcutta Station Kills 4

A bomb exploded at a train station in Calcutta, killing four people and injuring 15. It was unclear if the blast was linked to the series of explosions that hit India in the past week. The bomb, contained in a bag, had been planted on a train that arrived shortly before the blast, but was picked up by a vagabond and carried into the station where it exploded as he was being questioned by police.
