Northridge Sweeps to Volleyball Victory
Cal State Northridge’s men’s volleyball team swept three games from visiting Loyola Marymount Tuesday and appeared to shake off the effects of an unexpected weekend loss to San Diego State. The Matadors dominated the Mountain Pacific Volleyball Federation match, 15-7, 15-6, 15-5.
CSUN posted a .474 attacking percentage for the match, while Loyola connected on only 10.6% of its chances. Ken Lynch (14 kills), Coley Kyman (13) and Peter Piexoto (11) led the Matadors (15-5, 9-3). Setter Matt Unger had 52 assists.
