Disney Plans Time-Share Development: Walt Disney Co. is building its first stand-alone resort. The company’s Disney Vacation Development Inc. plans to build a 440-unit, time-share development on oceanfront property north of Vero Beach, about 95 miles from Walt Disney World. Disney hopes to begin work on a 120-room hotel and 60 villas next spring and open them in the summer of 1995. Amenities on the 70-acre parcel will include a six-acre lake, restaurant, shops and swimming pools.
