Shortening the Drive: An Irvine maker of disk-drive support products for the personal computer market has opened a European subsidiary based in the Netherlands and with branch offices in London and Paris.
Commercial & Industrial Design Co., whose sales rose 25% last year to $10 million, has established Ci Design International BV in Maastricht as a wholly owned subsidiary. Ci Design has sold its products in Europe since 1987.
“Ci Design International will have the capability of delivering product in a fraction of the time it takes to receive the product from the United States,” said Steve Roszel, a vice president of Ci.
