FREE SPEECH
I don’t know why Gary Tocco’s blatantly anti-Semitic letter in the Feb. 28 issue of the magazine has caused me to react with such passion. It is one thing to read about skinheads marching with clenched fists and spewing their hatred. It is quite another to read such a letter from someone who lives in my community.
Normally I would argue about free speech and a free press being the backbone of a free society. But there is something in my gut now that wasn’t there before. It tells me to wake up and be vigilant.
