Styles of ‘70s Are No Golden Oldies

I loved the March 23 Dianne Klein column ‘ ‘70s Sartorial Fever? Not for This Woman.” I have wondered if anyone but me laughed themselves silly over the latest fashions. Platform shoes went out with Carmen Miranda; the “grunge look” is revolting. I have seen pictures of the latest styles from Paris, Rome ad nauseum and can’t believe that anyone with the intelligence of a 2-year-old would seriously consider buying that junk.
