BUYING THOSE ‘BRIDGES’
What we are really talking about here is the solemnly virtuous idea of thought control. Keep these dangerous ideas out of the heads of these impressionable “ladies” who will only use this yarn to weave destruction. If Carnes had been around to offer such sterling advice throughout thousands of years of literary history, she could have prevented at least half the novels, plays and sonnets from ever having to be written!
