FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Carson: Various lanes of the westbound Artesia Freeway (91) from Main Street to the transition to the San Diego Freeway (405); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

2. Cerritos: Westbound No. 4 lane at Artesia Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; bridge repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

3. Carson: Various lanes of the northbound and southbound Harbor Freeway (110) from the Artesia Freeway (91) to the San Diego Freeway (405); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; sweeping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 2 lane of the connector to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60), including the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY (1)

5. Long Beach: Eastbound and westbound alternating lanes one quarter mile west of the Terminal Island Freeway (47); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday; bridge repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

6. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 4 and 5 lanes of the connector to the northbound and southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) and at Atlantic Boulevard; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; marker repair.

7. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 lane from Garfield Boulevard to Paramount Boulevard, including the Markland Drive on-ramp and Paramount Boulevard off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday; marker repair.

8. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 lane from Paramount Boulevard to San Gabriel Boulevard, including Paramount Boulevard on-ramp and San Gabriel Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

9. Montebello: Westbound No. 1 lane from San Gabriel Boulevard to Paramount Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; glare screen repair.

10. Monterey Park: Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60); 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

11. Monterey Park: Westbound No. 5 lane from Paramount Boulevard to Markland Drive, including the Markland Drive off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

12. Rosemead: Eastbound No. 4 lane from San Gabriel Boulevard to Rosemead Boulevard, including the Rosemead Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

13. Long Beach: Cherry Avenue on-ramp to the northbound San Diego Freeway (405); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

14. Downey: Northbound No. 3 lane of the connector to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5), including the Florence Avenue on-ramp; 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.

15. Santa Fe Springs: Telegraph Road on-ramp to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; landscaping.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

16. Downey: Southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to noon today; landscaping.

17. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Ditman Avenue to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) at Triggs Street, including the Ditman Avenue on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

18. Norwalk: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Shoemaker Avenue to Bloomfield Avenue; 6 a.m. to noon today; landscaping.

19. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Artesia Boulevard to Indiana Street; moving closure; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.
