HELP WANTED: Ventura County’s unemployment rate has fallen, according to the latest figures (B1), but Mary Lenz doesn’t buy it. The 39-year-old Ventura woman joined the jobless ranks Monday after the restaurant where she had worked for two years shut down. “I look in the paper every Sunday,” she said as she sat in the unemployment office in Ventura. “There is nothing out there, trust me.” Well, she admitted, there is one field with jobs aplenty. “If I lost 40 pounds I could be an exotic dancer,” she said. “There’s lots of those jobs available.”
