A Gifted Susan Dey
Dey is funny and has demonstrated an extraordinary comedic talent in films such as “Echo Park” and in my own movie “That’s Adequate,” in which she, along with such incontestably funny performers as Richard Lewis, Tony Randall, Robert Townsend and Sinbad, gave a hilarious performance. When she hosted “Saturday Night Live” last year, she had no problem standing toe to toe with that cast of comedians.
Ironically, the most obvious proof of her comedic ability was the critical success of her performance as Wally Porter in the pilot of “Love & War,” which garnered her ecstatic praise.
