Don Olsen, formerly with the YMCA of Orange County, has been appointed general director of the Pasadena YMCA.
He will oversee activities of the Metropolitan YMCA, which serves Arcadia, Altadena, Bradbury, Duarte, El Monte, Monrovia, Pasadena, Sierra Madre and Temple City.
Olsen, a native of Honolulu, has also worked with the YMCAs of Honolulu and New Orleans.
