British Aerospace is close to a $312-million deal to sell its corporate jet subsidiary to Raytheon Co., the Sunday Times of London reported. A company spokesman later described the report as speculation and offered no further comment. The newspaper said the sale would be the largest since John Cahill took over as chairman in May, 1992.
