Primed for Petworth
I enjoyed your June 13 section “Pleasures and Treasures of England,” with its articles on out-of-the-way places in Great Britain. As a frequent visitor to the United Kingdom, I enjoy straying from the beaten path. One of the most charming places I have discovered is Petworth in West Sussex. Time seems to have stood still in this little town, with its cobbled streets and tranquillity. It is filled with antique shops that draw visitors from all over the world.
