Tokos Posts Loss, Revenue Drop in 2nd Quarter
Tokos Medical Corp., the Santa Ana health-care services company, posted a loss for the second quarter of $6.6 million, or 38 cents a share, which included a $6-million pretax restructuring charge. That contrasted with a profit of $2.1 million, or 12 cents a share, for the corresponding period in 1992. Revenue declined 23% to $31.2 million from $40.6 million. For the first six months of 1993, the company reported a loss of $7 million, or 40 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $4.3 million, or 24 cents a share, for the same period in 1992. Six-month revenue was down 15%, to $66.1 million from $77.9 million.
