World IN BRIEF : AZERBAIJAN : Armenians Take Key Town Close to Iran

Armenian armored columns pushed through southern Azerbaijan, capturing a key town near Iran and encircling others, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said. According to the ministry, Armenian forces captured Jebrail, a strategic town about 12 miles from the Iranian border, after four days of fighting.
