COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Clements, Stone Lift Northridge
Junior outside hitters Aimee Stone and Missy Clements each had 22 kills Saturday to lead the Cal State Northridge women’s volleyball team to its second consecutive victory at the San Diego State tournament, 10-15, 15-8, 15-12, 15-6 over Idaho State.
Stone recorded a .543 hitting percentage and added 13 digs.
Amy Sherman had seven digs and Gretchen Gulbranson had 52 assists for the Matadors (4-4). Northridge played San Diego State late Saturday night.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
CS Dominguez Hills 3, Cal Lutheran 2--Gwen Nakashuma scored the winning goal in the final minute, breaking a 2-2 tie in a nonconference game at Cal Lutheran.
Joey Allard and Jill Gallegos scored for the Regals (0-3) in the second half to tie the game after the Division II Toros took a 2-0 lead in the first half.
MEN’S SOCCER
CS Dominguez Hills 2, Cal Lutheran 1--Masahiro Fujiki scored two second-half goals to lead the Toros to a come-from-behind nonconference victory over the Kingsmen at Cal Lutheran. Jan Hammervold scored in the first half for Cal Lutheran (2-1).

MEN’S WATER POLO
Ventura 11, Citrus 10--Tyler Wiggins’ goal with two minutes left gave the Pirates an upset victory over seventh-ranked Citrus in the championship game of the Ventura tournament.
Citrus rallied from a 10-5 deficit after three quarters.
Ventura (5-0) was not ranked in the top 20 of the junior college coaches’ poll. The Pirates also defeated Chaffey, 12-8, El Camino, 10-8, Valley, 9-3, and Santa Monica, 12-6.
Pedro De Lima scored 21 goals and goalie Paul Krueger made 71 saves for the Pirates during the tournament.
