Canyon-Saugus Game Moved to New Site, Time

To accommodate an expected large crowd, Canyon High has changed the day and site of this week’s Foothill League game against Saugus. The game has been moved to Saturday at College of the Canyons, and kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday night at Canyon High, but Saugus administrators asked for the change, Centurion Coach Jack Bowman said.

The game will be crucial for both Saugus (5-2, 1-1) and Canyon (5-2, 2-0) regarding postseason playoff seedings. A Canyon victory probably would set up a championship showdown with Hart in two weeks. A Saugus victory would keep alive the Centurions’ hopes for a co-championship.
