Journalism returned $3.80 and $3. Lord Joe paid $4.80 to show.
The victory, worth $55,000, increased Slew Of Damascus’ career earnings to $365,750, with 10 victories in 25 starts.

Tribulation, a 21-1 outsider, charged between horses at the top of the stretch and drew away to a two-length victory in the $200,000 Grade I Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky.
Tribulation defeated a field of nine 3-year-old fillies including three--Marillette, Ajfan and Nicer--who were flown from Europe especially for the race.
The winner paid $44.80, $17.60 and $6.80.
