San Diego Golfer Leads at Pacific Club

SAN CLEMENTE —  Jacque Vigil of San Diego shot a three-under-par 69 Wednesday to take a four-stroke lead after two rounds of the Pacific Players West golf tournament at the Pacific Golf Club.

Vigil was at one-under 143, ahead of Kim Lasken of Whittier, who followed an opening 76 with a 71, and Lisa Cornelius of Mesa, Ariz., who bounced back from a 77 to shoot 70 Wednesday.

Amateur Tyna Uhlar of San Clemente was the top county resident, shooting 78 for a 153 total.
