Fluor Daniel Wins $44 Million in Contracts
Fluor Daniel, the engineering and construction arm of Fluor Corp., said Tuesday that it has won two contracts worth a total of $44 million.
Fluor Daniel, based in Irvine, won a $35-million contract to manage the construction of a 1,185-bed jail for El Paso County in Texas. Construction will start early next year, and the project will employ up to 175 people.
The company said it also won a $9-million contract to provide cleanup services at four hazardous waste sites for the U.S. Army Environmental Center.
