SANTA ANA : College Board Seeks to Fill Vacated Seat
The Rancho Santiago College District is seeking candidates to fill a seat on the Board of Trustees left open by the resignation of founding board member Carol Enos.
The board will appoint a person in January to replace Enos, who resigned earlier this month citing health reasons.
Applications are available for residents of Trustee Area 3, which covers Orange, Villa Park and Anaheim Hills. Applications must be completed and returned to the district no later than 5 p.m. on Jan. 12, said district spokesman Dale Ruhe.
A special meeting to interview board candidates will be held at 5 p.m. on Jan. 24 in the boardroom in the administration building.
The new trustee will be sworn in on Feb. 14, Ruhe said.
For more information on the application process or candidate eligibility, call Vicki Stevens, board secretary, at (714) 564-6452.
