SEASON AT A GLANCE: McSorley has been the driving force behind the Rangers’ success. Heading into this week’s games, Nordhoff is 12-3, and the 6-foot-3 forward leads the team in scoring with 18.5 points a game and 8.3 rebounds. She was named to the all-tournament team in all three of Nordhoff’s holiday tournaments and also is the school’s student body president.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: McSorley continued her excellence in Nordhoff’s two games last week. She led the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds in each game, decisive victories over St. Bonaventure and Moorpark. “She has been real effective with her turnaround jump shot,” Coach Jack Smith said. “But we’re still working on her taking her shot from the perimeter. She’s very unselfish.”
