Bank Robbed of $1,000
AGOURA HILLS — An armed bandit robbed an independent bank Tuesday, making off with more than $1,000 from a teller’s window, authorities said.
The suspect walked into Pacific Charter Bank in the 26000 block of Agoura Road about 1:30 p.m. and told a teller that he had a gun, said Sgt. Denise Jezak of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He never showed a weapon, she said.
After receiving the cash, the suspect walked out of the bank and into a blue compact car, possibly a Nissan, Jezak said. The car headed northwest toward Ventura County, Jezak said.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, who wore a baseball-style cap bearing a Harley Davidson emblem.
