Concordia, SCC Face Road Tests
The Concordia University and Southern California College men’s basketball teams will each play on the road Tuesday in the first round of the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament.
Concordia (17-13), seeded fifth, will play at fourth-seeded Point Loma Nazarene (13-16), which swept the Eagles in the conference season. SCC (14-16), seeded seventh after finishing in last place in conference, plays at second-seeded Fresno Pacific (19-10). No. 6 Cal Baptist (13-15) plays at No. 3 Westmont (16-12).
The winners advance to the semifinals Saturday at Whittier College. The surviving team with the lowest remaining seeding will play No. 1 Azusa Pacific (27-3) at 8 p.m. The first semifinal is at 5 p.m.
