From the Home Office
I would like to thank Rick Du Brow for his fair and unbiased cover story on David Letterman (“Dave’s Six-Month Checkup,” Feb. 20). I get so tired of reading all of the rags’ gossip about the late-night competition, and this was a very informative article.
I would also like to thank Howard Rosenberg for his commentary on what makes Dave watchable. I am a great fan of Letterman, and 99% of my friends think I’m nuts. But Rosenberg put it perfectly--Dave’s absurd and knows how to make absurdity an art form.

Letterman is funny, witty and thoroughly entertaining. He is superb! The only reason I don’t watch him--Jay Leno is better.
