GLENDORA : City Appeals Ruling on Razing of Bungalow
The city of Glendora is appealing a December, 1993, ruling by a Superior Court judge that found the city guilty of illegally razing an 83-year-old home that should have been saved and placed on the California Register of Historical Resources.
In deciding a lawsuit brought against the city by the Glendora Preservation Foundation, Judge Diane Wayne ruled that city officials had not performed adequate environmental impact studies before demolishing the Craftsman bungalow to make way for a City Hall parking lot.
